What We Collect

BGM Finder Online collects anonymous usage statistics only. We log:

• Whether a song was successfully identified (yes/no)
• Whether AI vocal separation was used (yes/no)
• Number of rechecks per session
• Thumbs up/down feedback on results
• Timestamp of the request

What We Do NOT Collect

• Your IP address is not stored in logs
• URLs you submit are not logged
• Uploaded files are deleted within 30 minutes
• Song titles and artist names are not stored
• No account or login is required
• No cookies are set (until advertising is enabled)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Shazam — for music fingerprint matching (Apple Inc.)
• yt-dlp — for audio extraction from video URLs
• Cloudflare — for DNS and DDoS protection

When advertising is enabled in the future, we will update this policy and use Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies. You will be notified of this change.

Data Retention

Uploaded audio files and extracted audio are automatically deleted within 30 minutes of processing. Anonymous usage logs are retained for analytics purposes.
